Lillian Key Lewis was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, family member, and friend whose life was marked by strength, compassion, unwavering faith, and a heart for others. She had a way of making people feel loved, supported, and encouraged, even while facing challenges of her own.
When breast cancer entered her life, it changed our family's world forever. Although we lost Lillian in 2021, her love, courage, and legacy continue to inspire everything we do.

About the Lillian Key Lewis Legacy Scholarship

Scholarship Purpose
The Lillian Key Lewis Legacy Scholarship was established to honor the life and legacy of Lillian Key Lewis by providing financial assistance to graduating high school seniors whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer.
Our goal is to remove financial barriers, celebrate resilience, and encourage students as they pursue higher education.
Who Is Eligible?
Applicants must:

Be a graduating high school senior planning to attend an accredited college, university, technical school, trade school, or other eligible post-secondary institution.

AND meet one of the following criteria:

Be a breast cancer survivor.

Have an immediate family member (parent, legal guardian, or sibling) currently battling breast cancer.

Have lost an immediate family member (parent, legal guardian, or sibling) to breast cancer.
-
Applicants must also demonstrate academic commitment, community involvement, and a desire to make a positive impact in their communities.
Scholarship Award
The number and amount of scholarships awarded each year will depend on available funding through donations, sponsorships, grants, and community support.
Each recipient will be selected through a fair and thoughtful review process conducted by the Foundation.
Award Distribution
To ensure responsible stewardship of donor contributions, all scholarship awards are paid directly to the recipient's accredited college, university, technical school, trade school, or other eligible post-secondary educational institution.
Scholarship funds are not paid directly to recipients.
This policy helps ensure every contribution is used exclusively for educational expenses and supports the Foundation's commitment to accountability and transparency.
