Our Story
The Lillian Key Lewis Foundation was born from love, loss, and a desire to turn heartbreak into something that could bring hope to others.
Lillian Key Lewis was more than the inspiration behind our name. She was a beloved aunt, cherished family member, and remarkable woman whose life left a lasting impact on those who knew and loved her. After her passing from breast cancer in 2021, her niece and Foundation founder, Lorrianne "Simone" Key, felt called to ensure that Lillian's story did not end with her battle.
What began as a desire to honor her memory grew into a mission to support individuals and families whose lives have also been touched by breast cancer.
Today, the Lillian Key Lewis Foundation carries her legacy forward through breast cancer awareness, survivor and patient support, care initiatives, education, community outreach, and programs designed to provide encouragement, dignity, and hope during some of life's most difficult moments.
We understand that behind every diagnosis is a person, a family, and a story. Whether someone is newly diagnosed, currently undergoing treatment, celebrating survivorship, supporting a loved one, or remembering someone they have lost, we want them to know that their story matters.
Lillian's journey may have inspired our beginning, but every person we serve gives us another reason to continue.
Her Story Fuels Our Mission. 🎀
